Money & Economy
One closed loop. Your wage is someone else's spending.
Cash, bank, and the ATM
Cash in hand is what thieves can pickpocket and what you spend in shops. The bank is safe — use ATMs to deposit and withdraw (small daily account fee). Lotto winnings and stock dividends pay into your bank.
What jobs pay
| Work | Pays |
|---|---|
| Delivery run | $15–40 per run (distance-based, ×1.5 at Driver Lv10) |
| Arrest | $250 to the officer |
| Revive | $200 to the medic |
| Bike repair (house call) | $100 to the mechanic |
| Doctor heal | $15 per heal |
| Fishing | By the pound — commons grind steady money; rare catches are paydays |
| Shop robbery | Up to $400 base + risk bonus per officer online (if you escape) |
All of it scales with hot-job multipliers (up to 2× when your role is scarce) — see Classes & Jobs.
Shops and dynamic prices
Every shop branch has real stock. Prices move with supply: full shelves discount,
empty shelves gouge. On top of that, city-wide effects apply — a robbed shop type spikes prices across the
map for days, neglected supply lines make a whole category expensive, and well-capitalized company stocks
make their sector cheaper. Check live prices anywhere with /prices.
The city loop
The treasury funds supply deliveries → drivers restock shops → players buy at dynamic prices → cash sits
in shop registers → police collection runs return it to the treasury (and can be robbed in transit — the
loop's one leak). Yesterday's total city activity sets today's budget: a lazy city gets empty shelves,
a working city gets abundance. Read the whole city's pulse with /citystats.
Stocks & lotto
Four companies track the city's four shop sectors — sector sales move their prices, and investing in a
sector makes its goods cheaper city-wide. Trade with /stocks, /buystock,
/sellstock. The daily lotto (/lotto) pools ticket money plus a
city match — one number, winner takes the pot.
The recurring bills
- Food — hunger never stops; raw fish is the budget diet, burgers the comfortable one.
- Hospital fees — dying costs a percentage of your net worth (police respawn free; health insurance covers low-heat citizens).
- Fuel — cars burn it; see Vehicles.
- Fines, bail and bribes — the cost of getting caught. See Crime & Law.
Creek Coins
The premium currency. Shops accept them at a 10% discount, and community members who burn $CREEK earn them — but nothing in Creek211 is pay-to-win: everything Creek Coins buy, cash buys too. A wallet is never required to play.
